Decoding the Messages of Your Body: The Energetic Meaning Behind Illness and Injury

Decoding the Messages of Your Body: The Energetic Meaning Behind Illness and Injury

When I first discovered the book "You Can Heal Your Life" by Louise Hay I was in middle school. It was a book my mom had in our house, probably for some time yet I had never noticed it or paid any attention to it. One Saturday morning doing chores, it literally fell right in front of me. BLAM! A wink from the Universe. As I started to read through it, there was a palpable sense of truth to it, to the point I devoured it and started applying her affirmations (another concept I wasn't familiar with until this book). I am so thankful I was open her teachings, as she has had a profoundly positive influence on my life from a young age.

Besides the book walking you through healing your emotional wounds, (which I encourage everyone to do!), it also explains some of the common ailments we go through during our life and the thought pattern associated with it. It is pretty eye opening! Then I loved that she gives a remedy...an affirmation...and the new thought pattern that you can start applying for positive change.

About a month ago, my friend Dena helped me with a pain diagnosis for someone I love very much because I knew she had the books (I couldn't find mine due to a move) and a shared similar belief system when it comes to energy and how it effects us physically. The most beautiful part of it was, the book she suggested came from a mutual friend of ours who also does healing work in Australia. Amanda and Dena were able to help me help another person who is important to me, so it was like a beautiful shared connection of healing. The "diagnosis" was spot on, and it thrills me to know about this newer book, which will be gracing my shelf soon once it arrives. Metaphysical Anatomy by Evette Rose

The part that excites me the most (besides the shared healing between friends) is it shows me how far the concept of the mind/body connection has evolved since the 1980's, especially here in America. We can help ourselves and our loved ones most when we take responsibility for where we've been, where we are now and then move gracefully into where we are wanting to go, and create from a place of love and clarity.

I am currently putting together a community of kindred spirits, and hope you will join us. I also offer complimentary 15 minute discovery calls.
